You can find complaints about lacking communication and support from Ketron everywhere on the web...
But, what kind of support do you want from a small company like Ketron? And how do you think they should communicate with their customers?
Feel free to discuss, of how Ketron can improve their service, instead of only complaining about the current situation.. It somehow seems they dont realise that they are loosing customers because of this.. Maybe the right accentuation in this conversation could convince them to improve this part of their buiseness..
I think with the right effort, ketron could even double their sales numbers.. So listening to the customer base might be a wise thing

They seem like Old World craftsmen whose sole intent is their product, but haven't the interest, resources, or knowledge of marketing their product. In addition, there have always been bugs that take forever to iron out. The Audya 4, for one, was terrible for some in the beginning, but ended up fine. The early Audya 5 and 76 had problems too. On the other hand, all of my modules, SD2 and 4 have been fine, as is my AJAMsonic Audya 76. In fact, it is the best keyboard, out of 20, I have ever had.
There is no question Ketron products are very good, however, and thankfully, we have AJ as an expert who, not only is very helpful and knowledgeable, but helpful in solving any problems that may arise.

I'm new to this forum, I'm looking at buying the Audya 4 module. I've been using the Ketron SD3 since 2011 and also have a Ketron X4 which I'm thinking of selling. Can anyone please tell me what are the benefits of the Audya 4 over a SD3, is it worth the extra money? Chris

Can anyone please tell me what are the benefits of the Audya 4 over a SD3, is it worth the extra money? Chris The upgrade from an SD3 is huge... The Audya has the best styles of any arranger, and a lot of other high end features that are not on the SD3... Not only the styles but also the sounds had a huge update from the old SD series to the audya The style composer allows you to easilly create your own styles.. I think an audya 4 will sell used for around €1000 in europe.. which is a very nice price.. I would not buy a brand new audya currently, as for the money and features, the brand new SD7 thats sells at €1700 seems a better option.

It keeps me wondering why Ketron refuses to communicate with their customers and potential customers?
Despite the greatness of these instruments, one day people will be fed up by their communication phylosophy...

Dear Admin you mentioned the SD7 would be a better buy than the Audya 4. I see there is an SD9 now also but I'm in need of an upgrade to my SD3 (I'm an accordion player) and don't need a keyboard. I've found an Audya 4 for a reasonable price, is there a better sound module available? Thanks for your advice.

However the module version of the sd7, thats the sd40 comes close in sound quallity But comes with a hugely upgraded much easier accesible operating system The huge touchscreen means a difference of night and day.. The sd40 is also less then half the size of the audya4 I think the sd40 here in holland goes brand new for up and around €1700 However, i domt think an audya could ever dissapoint ...

I have the Ketron X4. Lately, the chord buttons give me the wrong chords. I live in Crossville Tennessee. The person that helped me with any problems I had "Accordions and KeyBoards" in Clearwater Fla. is out of business. Is there anybody in the Tennesse area that can fix an X4 module?? Please, I need help. Thank You.

I have a new ketron sd3 and when I connect it to my accordion,I only get sound from the keyboard and no sound from the base buttons. The only way I get sound from both sides is when I push the volume down. I need help . Is there anyone in Minnesota that I could contact.
