Just installed 2.5. No Deepmind12 in the hardware menu, contrary to published promise. I was all set up to try out the new controller feature, or so I thought. When is the real version coming out? Will it include Deepmind control? They announced they would at the Musik Messe..

At last weeks superbooth Yamaha announced that soundmondo will now also work with Montage Soundmondo is the open database that allows reface players worldwide so share their selfcreated sounds and patches.
This is something i would like to see more companies do.

I used to have 17 modules in my homestudio, Back then 2 of these would have been great Sadly all got stolen, and never recovered.
I backed down my setup then.. To Kronos/tyros5 (which has been replaced by pa4x) And my macbook with mainstage and VST’s
Recently i expanded because of some good deals - integra 7 - motif xs rack - GSI Gemini
Now i am wondering what analogue module to buy... just for toying with omnisphere

UVI announced their new version just recently Its a huge update both in number of organs as well as in sound quallity and realisme This pack is so much much more then just another B3 VST I really like The path UVI is walking, these packs are really affordable www.keyboardmag.com/gear/uvi-announces-retro-organ-suite-1-5This is definately something i would want to run on a Wersi ogan, or any other keyboard seeup supporting VSTs

Thanks Bachus... a study of the manuals when they become avalible will help, inculding some down time with this synth... then perhaps some changes may happen (lots of thinking considering my set up if this one finds it's way back with me) once a better understanding how this type of synth which by it's nature is a slightly different departure for me to understand, but a quick learning curve will I'm sure show how this could integrate with myself and my set up, I'm sure "you tube" will very quickly be a good source of information also, this one has certainly grabbed my ear's and imagination..... This synth definately is worth a trip to music store in Germany, where they have all the best keyboards allways on display.. BUT SO FAR it sounds massive.. and deep..

No, its an analogue filter.. Each voice/note has its own instance of that filter.. so the filter is limiting the polyphony here.. 8 stereo or 16 mono.. But if you combine it with the new omnispher 2.5 upgrade .. you have huge controll... Ok thanks for that Bachus...could i then ask if using the samples in stereo (I can now see we have 8 notes of polyphony with a single timbre) but if we are playing in a bitimbre configuration (layered or split) are we (A) still getting 8 notes of polyphony for each timbre... Or will it (B) drop to 4 notes of polyphony in a bitimbre configuration for each timbre (layered or split) ? P.s. yes omnispher 2.5 is also looking very interesting, I can see a weekend of reading ahead of me If you layer, its 4 stereo voices/8 mon voices/sound If you split, its 8/16 voices total.. So if you play a single bass note with your left hand, you would have 7/14 voices left for your right hand Atleast thats how polyphony works innother bitimbral dave smith instruments

Following this one... looks interesting...polyphony looks a bit shy on the sample side of things (stereo) could I be missing Something?..... No, its an analogue filter.. Each voice/note has its own instance of that filter.. so the filter is limiting the polyphony here.. 8 stereo or 16 mono.. But if you combine it with the new omnispher 2.5 upgrade .. you have huge controll...

This synth has 150 GB of the highest quallity samples on board (8dio) Which are taken from the 8dio collection known for some of the best vst sounds around.. Add to that some virtuall analogue oscilators.. And a viruall limitless amount of modulation source And real analogue filter And highest quallity dsp effects.. And you have a truely innovative Synth More video’s from 8dio here : Just go to their channel for a couple more video’s For all the specs, you go to the 8dio website 8dio.com/instrument/prophet-x/Attachments:file.txt (5 B)

One of those rare instruments, you can only find at musik messe You will probably never find an Orla dealer selling them.
I think it sounds rather warm...

Anyone compare the Crumar Seven ( or Gemini ) EP sounds with Korg ( SV-1, Kronos, or Grandstage ) ? As a Kronos and Gemin modulei owner, i can say that both make a good combo I prefer the Gemini in many things, like the EP’s and the Organs. I still prefer my kronos for acoustic piano’s Surprisingly the Gemini analogue Synth works very well for me...
