I like the fact that I can use VIP 3.0 not only as a standalone but also as a VST plugin in my VST host Gig Performer. I am not going to give up on Gig Performer! Also, you can get the software free if you get certain midi controllers with some models as low as $99. You might as well get one and get the hardware for free.
